$40 per person registration includes lunch and resource materials. (You may add up to 3 additional registrants from the same farm or organization at $35/ea.)

Sheep School - hoof trimming Workshop will be held at Heifer Farm in Rutland, MA.

This hands-on field school will teach practical skills for raising sheep including:

  • Managing meat and wool enterprises;
  • Sheep health;
  • Handling and facilities;
  • Feed and pasture management;
  • Breeding programs;
  • Hoof trimming, vaccination and other hands-on skills

… and lots more. Participants will have the chance to get some quality hands-on time with the sheep, so wear your barn clothes!
