Livestock Field Schools

cowsCome join livestock farmers from New England and beyond for the 2011 Livestock Field Schools! The workshops feature a hands-on approach; speakers from the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and other regional experts; plenty of resources for you to take home; and the opportunity to connect and compare notes with other producers of all experience levels. The events range from two-hour practical skills trainings to all-day "A to Z" workshops.

Don't miss our big kickoff event, the FREE Livestock Farm Day at the Tufts vet school on May 7! This year’s Farm Day will be even bigger than last year, including workshops in both English and Spanish … and, back by popular demand, a picnic-style lunch and pig roast.
