Cyrena Thibodeau is the New Entry Food Hub Coordinator. She previously served as the Americorps VISTA Food Access Facilitator in 2017. Cyrena’s role here is to coordinate the CSA and Food Access initiatives both from the farmer and customer end. Cyrena is a graduate student at Tufts where she studies Agriculture, Food, and the Environment. She lives in Jamaica Plain currently and hails from the Southcoast of MA. She graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a degree in Environmental Science where she was very actively involved with the student farm on campus. After graduation she apprenticed on a mixed vegetable farm in WA. Her most recent role was produce purchaser for a local restaurant. Cyrena is excited to be part of New Entry and helping to create a more sustainable and equitable local food system.
