Kayla Laddin (Intern)

Kayla Laddin is the Curriculum and Development Intern at New Entry Sustainable Farming Project this summer. She graduated from Penn State in May with a BS in Community, Environment, and Development and a double minor in Sustainability Leadership and International Agriculture. Kayla’s focus this summer is developing the curriculum for farmer training modules, enhancing resources for the incubator farmer program, and engaging with farmers to help evaluate skill development and continuously improve the course. Kayla is very passionate about community wellness, and increasing community participation within local food systems, and is excited to learn more through this position. Outside of this work, she enjoys teaching yoga, kayaking, hiking, and doing anything outdoors!
