Kimberly is New Entry's Associate Director and is responsible for working with New Entry Director, staff, consultants and regional and national partners to provide strategic leadership and management for New Entry’s programs. Dr. Kasper has both internal and external facing responsibilities at New Entry, ranging from program management to administration and managing human capital. Prior to joining New Entry, she served as Assistant Professor at Rhodes College and has been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut. Her subject concentrations focus on food and culture, environmental archaeology, gender, indigenous knowledge systems and colonialism. She also specializes in spatial analysis and GIS. Kimberly holds a PhD in Anthropology [Archaeology] from UMass Amherst, a M.Sc. in Environmental Archaeology and Paleoeconomy from Sheffield University UK, a MS in Anthropology from Florida State University, and a BA in Anthropology and History from Fordham University.
