Lydia McGinn (she/her) supports New Entry Sustainable Farming Project's Food Hub and Mobile Market as a Commonwealth Corps member. She is passionate about increasing access to locally grown produce and has five years of experience volunteering at Newhall Fields Community Farm, a nonprofit farm in Peabody, MA. Lydia previously worked as an ESL and pre-school teacher, where she integrated gardening, nutrition, and food system literacy into her curriculum. She first joined New Entry as a student of their hands-on practicum in sustainable agriculture. Lydia holds a B.A. from Hamilton College. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, canoeing, and baking.
