Sara is responsible for providing oversight and management of the Food Hub and serving as the team leader for local food access and distribution programming. Her role further involves building strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities, supporting food hub farmers with training and technical assistance, helping to shape the Food Hub’s strategic vision and implementation, as well as securing resources necessary to realize strategic objectives. She oversees a 300+ member CSA program, partnerships with food access organizations, and institutional procurement accounts. Sara holds a B.A. in Ecology, Philosophy and Religion from Stanford University. Sara has over 16 years of experience working in farm management roles at organic vegetable farms, managing landscaping crews, managing food distribution for food pantries, and coordinating community composting programs.
