Farmer Dave has been dedicated to advancing agriculture both locally and internationally. From 2011 to 2014, he consulted for the USAID Economic Prosperity Initiative in the Republic of Georgia, focusing on increasing winter greenhouse vegetable production and reducing import reliance. He currently consults on USAID's Agricultural Land Governance project in Tajikistan, where he helps improve off-season vegetable and small fruit production using high tunnels and greenhouse transplants. Based just north of Boston, Farmer Dave’s farm is a diverse operation offering a year-round CSA program, farm stands, and pick-your-own experiences.
