Navigating Risk: A Workshop on Sensitivity and Competitive Analysis for Agricultural Producers

This dynamic 2-hour workshop is designed to share with farmers about assessing and mitigating risks using analytical tools. The workshop focuses on two key aspects: Sensitivity Analysis and Competitive Analysis.

  • Sensitivity analysis is a way to see what a range of potential financial outcomes for the year may be. It can help producers prepare for a range of potentials and how they might respond to them. In this workshop we will learn about the process of sensitivity analysis and discuss how it builds resilience and adaptability for a farm business.
  • Competitive Analysis is a tool used to assess the market and where a farm is within it as part of a larger pricing structure. It includes discussions of factors that are part of determining the right price for an item, as well as who are direct and indirect competitors and how to consider them and their pricing.

Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your strategic decision-making skills and elevate your competitive edge in the agricultural sector!
