When Dan Berube was planning his new venture as a vegetable grower, he had trouble tracking down real financial figures that fit his enterprise. He went on to graduate from New Entry's Farm Business Planning Course and has a year under his belt farming at New Entry's incubator training farms in Dracut, Mass., and at his home (also in Dracut), but he was still bothered by the lack of transparency around sharing small farm financial data. So he decided to start sharing his own numbers with the world.
