Our 2019 Community Food Systems Conference is quickly approaching, and we invite you not only to attend but to experience! In addition to our exciting line up of workshops, lightning talks, an energizing panel, and a captivating keynote (Michael Twitty!!!), we have an expansive list of activities to get the week started on Monday, December 9.

Pre-conference options include a Racial Equity Intensive led by Rachel Willis of Elevating Equity and 'Creating the Local Agrarian Commons' by Agrarian Trust. You can explore Savannah with a Farm-to-Table restaurant trolley tour, storytelling and lunch with Gullah Chef Sallie Ann Robinson, or enjoy a special screening of “Raspando Coco,” complete with dinner and a Q&A with the film's director! If you’ve never been to Savannah, these field trips are a perfect introduction, and if you have visited before, this is a way to experience it in a unique way that will frame the rest of the week.

Our line-up has something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see you there. Click here to read more about each pre-conference session or click here to register now.
