Aggregating produce from local farmers to nourish communities

At New Entry Food Hub, we believe that everyone deserves access to fresh, locally grown food, and that small-scale farmers deserve the opportunity to thrive. Our work connects local farms with the people and communities who need their produce the most, fostering a food system rooted in equity, sustainability, and connection.  From expanding food access to driving innovative partnerships, the Food Hub is transforming the way food moves from farms to tables. With your support, we can continue making a difference.

Making Local Food Accessible to All
Through our Food Access Programs, the New Entry Food Hub ensures fresh, local food reaches seniors, schoolchildren, and families facing food insecurity. By partnering with senior farmers’ markets, farm-to-school initiatives, and food pantries, we bring nutritious produce directly to those who need it most. Our Mobile Markets further extend our reach, delivering farm-fresh food to neighborhoods across greater Boston, including SNAP and HIP customers.

Building Community Through CSA Programs
Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program connects consumers with seasonal farm shares packed with produce grown by New Entry farmers. From colorful vegetables to specialty boxes filled with unique crops, our CSA offers a direct link between local farms and families. By subscribing, customers not only enjoy farm-fresh food but also support the livelihoods of small-scale farmers.

Innovating with Value-Added Products
We’re helping farmers grow their businesses by exploring creative ways to transform their crops into value-added goods. Possibilities like meal kits made with local ingredients, along with value-added products such as hot sauces and pestos, represent exciting opportunities to help farmers grow their businesses while offering convenient, high-quality food solutions.

Partnering to Strengthen the Local Food System
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. The Food Hub works with local food producers, schools, restaurants, and nonprofits to expand opportunities for farmers and increase access to fresh, sustainable food. Every partnership strengthens our shared commitment to building a thriving local food economy.

Serving Our Neighbors in Need
By participating as a registered SNAP and HIP vendor, the Food Hub ensures fresh, nutritious produce is accessible to low-income families. These programs make it possible for customers to purchase high-quality food while supporting local farms, creating a win-win for farmers and families alike.

Every initiative at the New Entry Food Hub is powered by the belief that food should be a source of connection, empowerment, and opportunity. But we can’t do this work alone. Your support helps us:

- Provide fresh food to seniors, children, and families in need.
- Create more opportunities for beginning and underserved farmers.
- Innovate with value-added products and expand CSA offerings.
- Grow partnerships that strengthen the local food economy.

Join us in nourishing communities and growing the future of food. Your donation makes it possible for the Food Hub to continue bridging the gap between farmers and families, ensuring that fresh, locally grown food is within reach for everyone.
