Promotion of the New Entry's CSA program and our other food initiatives! CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and it’s a concept that’s gained popularity in the U.S. over the past 30 years. The basic idea is that consumers invest in a farm harvest before the season gets underway; this gives farmers capital when they need it. The subscribers then receive a portion of the harvest. Traditionally, that’s come in the form of a weekly box of produce, and the contents depend on what happens to be bountiful at the moment.
