Goddess Salad


  • 10 cups torn lettuce
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt or sour cream
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 garlic clove, coarsely chopped
  • 2 parsley sprigs, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


In a food processor or blender, combine all ingredients except the lettuce and process until well blended.  Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.  Put the lettuce in large bowl and toss with dressing to coat.
